Positive Reviews

A Favourite with Cyclists

This is one of the hotels that is favoured by Redline Cycling riders because it is a sponsor of the event. Also the food provided by the hotel is often right in line with what is needed by the riders to fuel up before beginning another leg.

Close to Everything

Guests loved how close the hotel was to so many attractions in the area. The Glenelg Pier, the Beachhouse, Bay Discovery Centre, and many whale watching tours are all within minutes. The hotel caters to guests who are visiting from out of town and go to great lengths to make sure that those staying with them know where they are going, or point out additional interesting venues.

Amazing Food Offerings

Guests rave about the extensive offerings when it comes to the food at this hotel. The buffet simply outshines anything in the area, and the additional sports pub, beer garden, and coffee bar at the hotel make it a hands-down winner with foodies.

Negative Reviews

Difficult Parking Ahead

Guests remarked that finding parking on site in the evening is difficult because so many people from the surrounding areas come to enjoy the food at the buffet. They felt that there should be guests-only parking areas added.

Noisy Walls

Guests who stayed in rooms that were adjoining stated that the walls were paper thin and they could hear everything going on in the room next door. This made it difficult to sleep, and made many guests uncomfortable.

Outside Stairs a Problem

For those staying on the upper levels, the stairs are on the outside of the building. So, if it is raining, you're out of luck. Carrying luggage up these stairs is also a bit dicey, some guests report. If using the stairs at night-time there is very little security, which made some guests feel very uncomfortable.
