Positive Reviews

Unbeatable location in downtown Auckland

This is by far the thing that guests most appreciated about Jucy. There seems to have been a number of guests attending events at the Vector Arena, which was just a few minutes' walk away, but other guests also appreciated being close to everything downtown.

Excellent value for money

Considering the prime central location, most guests who commented on value thought that they had got a very good deal indeed. They paid a budget rate, for simple budget accommodations and they were satisfied that they received these at fair value.

Private rooms are a decent size

There were no complaints of rooms being too small. On the contrary, several guests were very pleasantly surprised with the amount of space they got in such a central location.

Negative Reviews

No air conditioning

Quite a number of guests mentioned feeling very hot in their rooms. They would have ideally liked to have air conditioning, but would even have settled for a fan to help reduce the room's temperature at least a little.

Not always very clean

A bit too many guests for comfort complained of both their rooms and the public facilities often being dirty. While not a universal complaint, it did seem to colour the perception of those who did experience it.

Problems with Wi-Fi

While there was some free Wi-Fi available, guests maintain that it was very limited - a period of 30 minutes was mentioned. So, effectively, Wi-Fi was paid, and many guests found this unacceptable. Since connectivity plays such a central role in people's lives nowadays, they thought it should be included in the room-rate.
