Great Base for Cotswolds Touring.

Whether you're in town for business or pleasure, the Merrymouth Inn is sure to delight with its convenient location. Guests found the accommodation ideal for touring the beautiful countryside and rolling hills of the Cotswolds. At the same time, several interesting attractions are reachable within minutes, with several famous landmarks and historic towns easily accessible by car.

Great Pub Grub.

Guests repeatedly praised the food they received from this pub, described as pleasantly surprising and a good cut above the average public house fare. The fresh vegetables used in the dishes were given a notable hi-light, with diners left satisfied yet wondering what the inn's secret was to making these particular veggies so delectable! The breakfast was also given high marks.

Charming and Historic Inn.

Several guests were charmed by this historic inn, enjoying the quirks of staying in a 13th century building, and former stables. Merrymouth Inn is simply chock full of stories from the days of old, with charming and friendly owners who will be more than happy to share them with you.

Negative Reviews

Connect to Wi-Fi in Pub Only.

Some guests were disappointed to discover that they could only access the inn's free Wi-Fi from the pub area of the building. Still, they were pleased to be able to at least connect easily from that location where needed.

Needing A Total Refurb.

Several guests felt this inn was in dire need of updating, with the charming history of the building leaving no excuse in their minds for the tired and poorly maintained state of some of the building's areas. On the plus side, some guests mentioned that staff gave them discounts to their rooms, acknowledging refurbishment was due.

Problems With the Shower.

Some guests seemed to experience trouble regulating their shower, with mentions of weak water pressure. However, even these guests said they were happy with the inn overall.
