A number of previous guests stayed here as it was a special occasion such as a wedding, wedding anniversary, romantic getaway or a milestone birthday and these guests were
surprised by and loved the little touches in the rooms which made their stay memorable.
The staff at the hotel attracted a lot of positive comments from guests who remarked that they were obviously well trained because of the high stand of professional service that
they offered to their guests. The standard of service would see many guests return, according to reviews.
Guests were in awe of the plush decor and the high end features of the hotel both in the common areas. The lobby area and the cocktail bar got rave reviews, not only for their
luxury feel but also for the drinks served.
Standard Rooms are Average
Guests expecting luxury features were disappointed by the standard hotel rooms in the property, with guests commenting that they were provided with basic toiletries and standard
room amenities like any hotel and for them there was no point of difference, given the price.
A Bit Far From Town
Guests who expected that the Emporium complex was in the centre of Brisbane city were a bit disappointed by its location, as it is located a 15 minute walk from the Brunswick
street mall and a 40 minute walk from Queen Street mall. Guests also commented that you will need a car or to take a taxi into Brisbane's central business district.
Additional costs are incurred by guests beyond their room charge to park and to use the amenities that the hotel has to offer. Guests commented that they felt that for the price
of the room tariff, that these things should have been included as standard.
