Location is the best

The hotel is right on the main beach and within easy walks of the esplanade, numerous restaurants, and plenty of shops and markets. You can walk to practically anything you'd want to see or do in the area.

Modern and clean

The units provide a very pleasant stay with modern features and spotless accommodations. Most rooms have king-sized beds and the kitchenettes are convenient with dining ware included.

Owners on hand

The staff here are the owners and they are always on hand to provide welcoming and friendly service. They take pride in their business and that focus on hospitality really shows.

Negative Reviews

Old-fashioned motel

This is not a modern hotel, but a small family-run motel. So, there are no lifts and all the rooms open straight to the outside with no interior hallways. The motel is a bit old-fashioned in some features and doesn't provide the amenities of hotels. Some advertised features, like Wi-Fi and the business services, can't be relied upon.

Can be noisy

The motel can get quite busy with street and foot traffic noise, especially when the beach comes to life at night. Weekends are also very loud and busy. The nearby construction noise adds to the din.

Pricey

If you've ever heard the phrase "a million dollar view", then you'll understand why the room rate is so expensive. You're paying mostly to be so close to the beach. The motel provides a simple and basic stay, but the rate compares to luxury stay in other locations. Unfortunately, you'll pay the price but not get ocean views from the room.
