Alivio Tourist Park includes a spa and pool area, manicured gardens, a game room with billiards, and a recreational sports area. Free Wi-Fi, private parking, and an on-site playground are also included.

A full breakfast buffet is available on weekends at the in-house cafe, which also provides a range of international entrees for dinner. An on-site bar serves cocktails, wine, and beer.

Positive Reviews

City access with rural calmness.

If you plan to visit downtown Canberra but aren't looking to deal with the hassles of traffic and city noise, then you'll be pleased to find the rural beauty of this property. There's very little noise from roads in the area, and the garden surroundings will sustain an idyllic feeling throughout your stay.

Cabins with modern comforts.

Although the location has a sense of natural charm, the cabins are actually furnished with all of the comforts you'd expect from modern accommodations. The furniture, fixtures, and overall style is contemporary, giving the living units the best of both worlds.

Convenient dining.

Having an on-site cafe with a range of hot entrees, breakfast choices, and local beverages is a fantastic benefit to you, if you're looking to dine without venturing too far from your room. The bar area is also full of high-quality drinks and friendly staff, making it a great leisure spot.

Negative Reviews

Poor temperature control.

Like most of Australia, the living units tend to fluctuate significantly in temperature depending on seasons and the time of day. Unfortunately, the heating and air-conditioning units in the living areas aren't always powerful enough to regulate temperatures efficiently.

Crowded living conditions.

The cabins and villas vary in size, but a common theme is that many guests find them to be far too small, especially in social spaces like the living room and dining areas. You'll need to tailor any social engagements or excess luggage storage around these space shortages.

Stiff beds.

The pillows and beds are designed for guests who enjoy a hard surface, so be prepared to bring (or request) a mattress pad if needed. Even guests who tended to prefer a stiffer mattress were disappointed with the bed's density.
