Easy Walk to Local Attractions

Guests commented that the hotel is within easy walking distance of local restaurants and bars and a good distance from the central business district without being caught up in the hustle and bustle of the city, but still close enough to get in and out with ease.

Accommodating Staff

Guests commented that the staff at the hotel were only too happy to help out to make sure that guests had what they needed for a pleasant stay. Guests really appreciated the friendly and polite attitudes of staff at the hotel.

Good For Families

Guests travelling with their children or in extended family groups left very positive comments about the hotel saying that it was very family friendly and that there was ample room to move about in the rooms and the kids loved the indoor pool.

Negative Reviews

Cleaning Not Up to Scratch

Guests who found evidence of previous guests in their rooms rushed to write negative reviews about the lack of attention to detail by housekeeping staff saying that the service was sub-par and below the standard of what they had come to expect of the Mantra hotel chain.

Restaurant Dramas

Previous guests who did not have a great experience in the hotel's restaurant left less than positive reviews about their encounter. Some had bad meals, some had poor customer service and others were overcharged and it took an age for staff to sort out problems.

No Free Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi is availble at the hotel for an additional cost however many previous guests commented that the fact that the hotel does not provide free Wi-Fi is unacceptable in this day an age were Wi-Fi is common place and should be free and included in the room tarrif.
