Positive Reviews

Maximum appeal and value

It is clear that the family running this B&B work as a team and are dedicated to providing the best possible service and spotlessly clean environment for guests. They succeed beyond any reasonable expectations and in all areas, including the rooms. Beds are one of the highlights here and they could not be more comfortable. The feeling among guests is that they could be paying much more to stay in a star-rated hotel; but that they would miss out on the super value on offer here.

Fine food is never far away

Breakfast provides a terrific start to the day and there is a great variety on offer. Then and throughout the day; snacks, teas, and coffees are available. Unsurprisingly, guests find it very tempting to spend the day relaxing by the pool and maybe getting a pizza delivered later. Naturally, though they don’t want to miss out on Canberra’s many great attractions. The locals, for instance, love Braddon Precinct and this place buzzes with shops, pop-up stalls, food vans, street vendors and restaurants. There is a definite American theme to dining on the area's Lonsdale Street.

The perfect location

Countryside and city lovers are well catered for here. Visitor opinions of Canberra always seem to be positive and the finest city views are enjoyed from nearby Mount Ainslie Lookout. It is a hugely popular spot for walkers, bird-watchers and wildlife enthusiasts. The drive to this idyllic location normally takes around ten minutes. It is then, a similar driving time to Canberra International Airport, and that is a particular boost for business visitors. There is an optional shuttle service if it is required.
