Positive Reviews

Good standard budget hotel

This budget no-frills hotel fulfils its promise for great value accommodation. Guests are quite impressed with the standard that it offers for the rates they pay. The rooms, whilst simple, are nice, cosy and clean, with comfortable beds. The Wi-Fi seems to work very well too, with guests claiming it is the best they have experienced in a hotel in the Philippines.

Great location for eating and shopping

The big plus of this hotel is where it is situated, right in the heart of a vibrant shopping area. Guests point out that there is a mall just minutes down the road with lots of shops, and eateries around. There is even a great restaurant within the hotel's premises – The Lechon Belly – which is well appreciated. The area is also highly accessible by public transport with taxis aplenty.

Pleasant staff

Service is usually with a smile at this hotel. Guests are delighted to receive such a friendly welcome, with staff seemingly genuinely happy and eager to help.

Negative Reviews

Breakfast could be better

The breakfast, served by a local catering school, leaves a lot to be desired. Whilst guest acknowledge that the students may be learning their trade, they don't all have the time and patience to wait, as the service can be agonisingly slow. They are not very impressed by the average quality of the food and its presentation either nor the relatively late opening hours.

Some more basics please

Guests would appreciate the hotel providing some standard amenities to make their stay a bit more comfortable. These include refrigerators, kettles, hairdryers and in-room safes.
