The Barclay Motor Inn is a Superior AAA 3½ Star Motor Inn – “a nice place to stay!” The Barclay is ideally located in a quiet area of Devonport, one block back from the Mersey River on North Fenton Street, it is an easy walk to the CBD, shopping centre, supermarkets, restaurants, safe swimming beaches, sporting centres, Mersey River and Port, and just a few minutes’ drive to the Spirit of Tasmania ferry terminal. All units except the Executive Unit are ground floor with parking in proximity to the units. Long / large /towed trailer vehicle parking is available on-site.
Quiet, yet central location with free Wi-Fi & Foxtel, an indoor heated pool that is 28-30 degrees, open all year, and a half court tennis and basketball court.
Tourist information is available from Reception and The Barclay has an on-site liquor licence with a limited range of beverages, soft drinks and snacks. Additional services provided include a coin-operated guest laundry, and room service breakfast, and two conference / function venues. The Barclay offers a choice of a three bedroom holiday cottage, two bedroom units and studio apartments with fully equipped kitchens, deluxe or standard rooms.
