Handy spot next to the University of Melbourne.
If you're visiting the University of Melbourne then you can't really get much closer than this hotel. Just outside the campus, this place puts you within easy reach of this educational institution, plus there's a tram station nearby that connects to the Central Business District.

Negative Reviews
negative:
More attention needs to be paid to cleanliness.
Some corners are being cut when it comes to proper cleanliness at this hotel. Housekeeping simply aren't doing a thorough enough job, with marks on walls and stained carpets just a couple of things you might notice.
negative:
Soundproofing in the rooms needs improving.
Getting an early night isn't always easy at this hotel. The walls are terribly thin and much of the noise in the neighbouring rooms and hallway outside can be heard in your room. To make sure you're not disturbed pack some earplugs.
negative:
Starting to feel a bit dated and worn out.
This hotel is not being properly maintained and is starting to appear quite shabby in places. Things like a faulty toilet flush and loose fittings need to be fixed before guests have to report them. Some renovation would do this place the world of good.
