Our stay at Warrenbayne Cottage was exactly what we were looking for. Only 20mins out of Benalla, we were far enough away from town to feel quite serene, but with everything we needed at our fingertips. With a brilliant sized securely fenced block of land, our dogs had all the room in the world and two very friendly and tolerable Greyhounds to run around and enjoy themselves with. Mandy was an amazing host, we'll definitely be back again!!

The cottage is immaculate with everything you could want and Mandy is the most delightful host. I wish I could have stayed longer and got to know the area but, alas, I couldn't. Very highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay with Mandy who was so accommodating and generous. The amenities are excellent with a generous number of pantry staples. The cottage was a great size for the two of us with our big greyhound who loved being able to roam free and socialise with Mandy's beautiful greyhounds. It a very peaceful stay and we enjoyed saying hello to the horses and other farm animals.

Loved our stay even if just overnight. We were toasty warm even though it was freezing outside for our winter getaway, everything we could have needed was there, located in the countryside so very quiet, no light pollution so the stars…amazing!

We enjoyed staying at the cottage, the animals at the end of the fence line made it for us as we have horses etc. It was smaller than we expected, but we were only there for one night, so it did not matter, it was advertised adequately as a one-bedroom cottage. Great place to stay when visiting friends in Benalla, it was just down the road and handy to get back late at night. The fire in the lounge room made the whole place warm and cozy. The outdoor fire pit was good too as you could sit outside in the freezing cold and the fire kept you warm. The place was very clean and welcoming.

Great little cottage to stay in, well appointed and very comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommended.

One night stay. Mandy was a very friendly host and most welcoming. Our greyhound enjoyed meeting Mandy’s 2 greyhounds as well as the other farm animals. Will definitely consider staying again. Was wonderful only hearing the sounds of nature.

Stunning location. A world away from noise and traffic. Lovely little cottage with balcony views over the farm. Friendly alpaca, sheep, cows and horses. Plenty of room for our dogs. An excellent retreat. I’ll be back again

Lovely little cottage overlooking a valley deep in the countryside

Stayed 1 night as part of travel with 2 x 10 week old puppies. Property well equipped with everything needed and very clean. Had a bbq dinner and enjoyed having our puppies meet their horses. Horses extremely friendly. Would definitely recommend and would consider staying again. Thank you for such a great experience

We absolutely loved this property, fully equipped with anything we needed, clean and great views over the paddock and creek. Spacious outdoor aera where our puppy could roam freely, and we had great walks in the nearby forest. Our puppy made friends with the two lovely and friendly horses Muffin and Mate, good “education” for a puppy who is just discovering the world.

We have a fantastic weekend Getaway here with our Dog. Beautiful quiet cottage, with everythign you need. Great Communication from Mandy the Host, made our stay even easier. Thank you and we hope to come again soon.

Property is in a very nice and peaceful location .only 20 minutes from Benalla in a nice rural setting . Mandy is very pleasant and accommodating and her dogs are very friendly .Definitely going back.

We loved our stay @ Mandy's cottage. Beautiful quiet area. She had horses on the property & our daughter was quick to fall in love. Was so nice to wake up to the cows, horses & birds. Close to Strathbogie Ranges & other country towns. Had everything you needed in the cottage from sauce, butter to clean towels. It was a lovely stay & Mandy was very welcoming & was there if we needed. Highly recommend.

Great set up in a lovely setting. Horses, sheep and cattle all around. Secure fencing for our dog so he could roam freely. We’ll be back

We enjoyed our stay at Mandy’s place. It’s a warm and cozy place including everything we needed. My son loved farm animals.

The mileage from Benalla is more than 11 kms. All other aspects of my short stay were fine.

This was an amazing getaway with the dogs, plenty of space for them to run around and meet the farm animals. The cottage was perfectly sized for us and the 3 dogs, and had everything you could think of, all the supplies that you would normally forget to bring. The potbelly wood fire was amazing, Mandy had it on for us on our arrival and it was the greatest thing to come home to when driving in the cold rain for 2 hours. Mandy was very accommodating and lovely, and we will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend :)

Travelled from Sydney to Warrenbayne, arrived mid afternoon & was very impressed with the cottage on our farm stay. Cottage is beautifully clean & tidy, everything you need is supplied. The wood burning stove is great with plenty of wood supplied & keeps the cottage cozy. Mandy is a great host, very helpful & friendly, let us feed the horses. She also allowed me to put my classic car in the machinery shed overnight as I was travelling to Benalla for the HD/HR Holden Nationals. Beautiful quiet area, great place to stay. Thanks Mandy.

Such a good stay, hosts were amazing and was a great getaway with our pup too. Just make sure you pack some food as Benalla is the closest town and is 20 mins away. Recommend for everyone

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Warrenbayne Cottage and I must say it was a delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, Mandy, the host, was incredibly accommodating and made us feel right at home. The cottage itself was well-maintained, clean, and had all the necessities we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights of our trip was bringing along our two dogs, and they had a fantastic time at Warrenbayne Cottage. The property was surrounded by farm animals, and our furry friends thoroughly enjoyed watching them. It was a unique and entertaining experience for them, and it added an extra touch of charm to our stay. Personally, I found great joy in spending time with the friendly horse on the property. It was evident that the horse was well taken care of and had a gentle temperament. Patting and interacting with the horse became a cherished memory from my time at the cottage. The cottage was well presented, clean and had so many useful kitchen/bathroom items that most would not remember to pack. Our dog was amazed interacting with the farm animals - a true city dog so these were her first. Lots of enjoyable day trips and the stars at night were amazing! We would certainly visit again.

Just loved all of it. Mandy was so helpful putting up a safety fence for our little jack russle. The cottage had everything you need and more. The farm animals were so much fun to watch and the bird life brilliant. The view from your veranda is so relaxing. Best we have stayed at. Will be back

Had a lovely stay at Warrenbayne Cottage, and enjoyed exploring the surrounding region, including a couple of trips to the Winton Wetlands for some bird photography. Our four legged friends also enjoyed their stay, and appreciated their daily visit, and playtime, with one of the host's dogs. All in all a relaxing weekend away from the big smoke. Thank you, and we look forward to returning.

The location is so peaceful and quiet, all you can hear are the birds, frogs, crickets and farm animals. Great view out the back across the valley and nearby farms. Mandy's menagerie of animals are delightful. Mandy is a pleasure to deal with and very helpful.

Escape to the country indeed! The cottage is charming and has everything you need. Mandy made us feel welcomed from the second we arrived. If you want to spend a few days relaxing in the country air this is the place. Dog friendly plenty of space. It was a joy to wake up to nothing but cows mooing. If you can’t live without the internet then this isn’t the place for you. But you won’t need it. It was a very hot day when I arrived and Mandy had put the aircon on for me and there were chilled glasses in the freezer. It’s these small things that make you enjoy your trip. My dog loved the freedom he had and meeting the cows and horses. Highly recommend, would stay again.
