Byron Central Apartments offers 4-star accommodation in a central Byron Bay location which is just two blocks away from the beach. Self contained studio and loft apartments are available which are air conditioned and feature a fully equipped kitchen including stove top, oven and fridge. Other features include a flat-screen TV with premium channels and en suite bathroom with a shower/tub combination. Weekly housekeeping is provided and Wi-Fi is available at a surcharge. The front desk is open during set hours and tours and ticket assistance as well as luggage storage is provided. An outdoor pool and barbecue facilities are averrable for guest use. Guests are also offered a discount on scuba diving when booked through Sundive. Local cafes and restaurants are within easy walking distance. Byron Central Apartments is within 20-minutes’ walk of Captain Cook Lookout and Arakwal National Park. Macadamia Castle is 25-minutes’ drive away.

The apartments are centrally located with many cafes and restaurants being within ten-minutes’ walk. A Woolworth supermarket and the Byron Bay farmer's market is also within ten-minutes’ walking distance. The beach is two blocks away and the Cape Byron Lighthouse can be reached within 35-minutes’ along a scenic walking track.
The apartments are well presented, clean and comfortable with all the necessary amenities provided, including a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, secure parking and access to an outdoor pool.
The staff have been described as friendly, helpful and accommodating. The reception desk is open during set hours and staff are available to answer questions and provide assistance including booking tours.
Guests commented that some of the furnishing and decor are dated, worn and in some cases damaged. The bathrooms in particular where reportedly outdated and in need of renovating. In the loft apartments only downstairs air conditioning is provided and the upstairs can become very hot and stuffy. For such reasons guests felt that the accommodations offered poor value for money.
A paid-for Wi-Fi service is offered and guests felt that this service should have been included in the price of the accommodation. Free Wi-Fi can be accessed, however guests reported that it is unreliable and can be slow and difficult to connect to.
Guests reported that the apartments are small in size, including the kitchen area which is compact and has limited bench top space.
