Hotel Harbourside Apartments (Sydney, Australia)

The hotel is renowned for its amazing views across Sydney Harbour and of the Sydney Harbour Bridge with the apartments selling out for the NYE fireworks on the harbour it is no surprise that it was the views that drew the most positive comments about the hotel.

Some guests were really pleased with the amenities at the hotel, additional to their room, with many guests accessing the pool area and BBQ facilities to relax and enjoy the sunshine with friends. Some guests also made positive comments about the fully equipped kitchen.

The apartments are close to a number of transport options that allow easy access to central Sydney and the immediate sights of North Sydney and many guests mentioned this as the highlight of their stay.

There is no air-conditioning at the hotel, only a ceiling fan and many guests commented that they were too hot enjoy their stay, some went so far as to comment that, in this price point air-conditioning, especially in the Australian summer, is implied and the hotel should be more transparent in their information that it is not included.

A number of guests expressed their dissatisfaction with broken items throughout the apartments which caused an annoyance during their stay.  Guests suggested that more attention to detail needs to be paid by hotel management to make sure even the little things such as door handles and bookshelves are functional.

Some guests reviewers left comments the indicated that they did not think that the hotel was the luxurious experience that it purports to be in the photos on its website, with some previous guests commenting that the decor was a little dated and required a re-styling .
