The beach is three blocks away, Rippley's Believe it or Not is five-minutes on foot, and the famed SkyPoint Observation Deck is less than ten minutes away by tram. Plus there are two shopping centres and a bus stop right on your doorstep.
It has to be said that many of the guest rooms here afford quite a bit in the way of square footage. Indeed, you can easily accommodate three adults in most rooms without feeling at all cramped.
A number of guests have made disparaging comments about the general lack of tidiness within this hotel. The unkempt state of the bedrooms and bathrooms is what irked most visitors, although some were perturbed more by the presence of mould. Room for improvement.
If you like your A/C units to hum with a gentle yet reassuring purr of efficiency then you may well be in for a shock here. The dated yet over-exuberant units in this hotel's guest accommodations sound more like jet engines than content cats! They don't even pump out that much cold air either...
Guests have taken issue with the fact some of the staff in customer-facing roles were a little abrupt when dealing with visitors. Most of the issues here seem to focus on reception and breakfast staff.
