The MCEC has been host to a number of events including high-powered promotional conferences, exhibitions, concerts, and charity galas. Annually, the centre welcomes over 2.5 million visitors, many of which travel from across the globe. The venue features space for private business functions, conferences, major corporate events, and grand-scale exhibitions, as well as a stage for musical and theatrical performances.

The Plenary Experience at the MCEC

Located in the heart of Melbourne’s South Wharf, the Plenary is the centrepiece of the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. The venue can accommodate over 5,000 guests and it can be broken into three separate sectors for more intimate events. World-famous speakers and theatrical performances have been held here, including Neil Young, the St. Petersburg Ballet, and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.
