Positive Reviews

Personable hosts.

A warm welcome was delivered to weary travellers, and many guests commented on the friendly owners. Not only were they knowledgeable about the local area, they also provided plenty of warm conversation and an overall pleasant vibe that guests appreciated.

Clean and comfortable.

By all accounts, rooms were in good shape with special attention paid to housekeeping. Clean quarters were the norm here, and if you are looking for a spotless place to hang your hat for a few days, this just might be the place.

Breakfast does the job.

The provided continental breakfast was a welcome experience for most guests. While basic and lacking hot items, it provided the fuel that the majority of visitors needed for a day of exploring.

Negative Reviews

Some rooms bigger than others.

While many guests enjoyed the characterful, bear-themed decor, some said that rooms had too much decoration for their size. Not all rooms are created equal, and some guests suggested that if you aren't travelling light, the smaller rooms might not be big enough.

Lighting could be better.

Some areas of the bed and breakfast were too dark for guests' liking. It seems that modern lighting can be found in bathrooms, but hallways and the main entry might leave you with a bad first impression.

A few inconveniences.

Several guests said that it would have been nice to have an easier way to park. Street parking didn't cut it in many cases. Wi-Fi also didn't do much to impress guests, with many saying that it was often slow and unreliable.
