Mona, Museum of Old and New Art offers eight luxury one and two-bedroom apartments on the Berriedale peninsula; the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) and the Moorilla Estate winery are also located there.

Each apartment, named after an Australian artist or architect, feature pieces from the MONA collection. High-end amenities include a fully-equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a spa bath. There’s also a television, climate control and a wine bar.

    The apartments here are described as truly sublime. On the outside, the architecture is something to behold and inside guests marvel at how spacious and stylishly decorated the rooms are. There are plenty of hi-tech gadgets to enjoy and the fridge and bar are packed with tasty treats to eat and drink. What’s more, the inclusion of works of art from the gallery adds to the ambiance and the views of the River Derwent are amazing.

    Guests love dining in The Source Restaurant, which offers an imaginative menu of dishes using locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients wherever possible. They report that the food is delicious and well-cooked with breakfast being a particular highlight. There’s also a good selection of wines and beers to choose from, including ones produced on the Moorilla Estate.
