Negative Reviews

Decor is cluttered and not for everybody.

Although many liked the traditional furnishings and decor, others felt that it is a bit crowded and cluttered. Reviewers noted that there are a few too many furniture pieces and knick-knacks about, and that the decorations may not appeal to the younger crowd.

Some room details need attention.

A number of guests reported some minor issues upon checking into their rooms. Problems included dust, years-old magazines, dead flowers, and worn bed linens, suggesting that the suites had not been attended to as diligently as they should have been.

Not a great value for money.

Visitors commented that the bed and breakfast is not a great value for money and is more ideal for short weekend trips and special occasions. The restaurant's dinner fare in particular, while described as good, was said to be a bit expensive for what you get.
