Walking distance to downtown and ski slopes

The hotel is well placed with both the ski slopes and downtown area being less than ten-minutes’ walk away. The local area also offers a choice of bars and restaurants to choose from. Shops and a supermarket are also a short walk away.

Well appointed rooms with mountain views

The rooms were found to be clean and well appointed with complimentary tea and coffee making facilities and the convenience of a mini-fridge included. Rooms facing Bald are available and guests recommended booking rooms with a mountain view which adds positively to the experience at Best Western Tyrolean Lodge Ketchum. Guests also recommended enjoying the outdoor pool and hot tub especially after a day of skiing.

Rundown and dated hotel

Not all the rooms reflect the photos shown online of the hotel, with a number of guests reporting that the guest rooms have old and outdated furnishings. The hotel’s interior has also been described as worn and run down and in need of renovation.

Small rooms

Different room categories are available and some of the rooms are smaller than others in size. A number of guests expressed disappointment that their rooms were uncomfortably small and cramped.

No elevator

While the hotel is just two stories high, there are many steps to reach the second landing and no elevator. Guests with heavy pieces of luggage as well as those who are elderly or disabled may have difficulty accessing the second floor.
