Positive Reviews

Walking distance to the beach from the hotel

The hotel sits right on the bay giving guests easy access to the beach and cove. There are many previous guests who stay here year on year with their families and highly recommend it. The family rooms are more than spacious and have views over the sea.

Warm and friendly atmosphere, a home from home

The owners have had the hotel for around a year and take pride in the service they provide. The reviews state they are lovely people, making all guests feel very welcome and create a really cosy atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.

Good food and ale

The restaurant and bar are open to the public and guests which have an outside seating area with sea views to enjoy after dinner. They have many positive reviews about the food and drinks served. Sunday lunch is a must and there is definitely value for money.

Negative Reviews

Thin walls so you can hear everything

As the house is converted into a hotel the walls are thinner. Guests have complained as they can hear people in other rooms and also noise from downstairs from the kitchen and the pool table which apparently is played on until early hours of the morning.

No Wi-Fi signal

There are reviews about the signal within the hotel which appears to drop or is completely unobtainable at times, this may be an issue if anyone stays and needs a signal other than their phone.

Needs money spending on it

There are many reviews regarding the interior of the hotel, some say its shabby, carpets are worn and dirty, bathrooms need re-grouting, showers are small and the appliances are completely out of date.
