The Village Family Motor Inn is a three-star, family-run motel set on five acres of beautifully landscaped gardens.

The rooms have simple décor and feature free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and wood panelling. All of them have balconies with city views, minifridges, microwaves and coffeemakers. Some rooms have separate living/dining areas, kitchens and bunk beds.

Outstanding food

There is overwhelming appreciation for the food available at the motel. Some breakfast and meal items have been specially mentioned by guests as being excellent, including the wood fired pizzas and desserts among many others.

Good on-site facilities

The motel offers a host of amenities which are available on-site, all at a reasonable cost, say guests. There's a heated pool, a games room, a play area for the kids and a sauna amongst others. Guests said that the motel facilitates a value for money stay.

Good staff

Staff has been appreciated for being friendly and efficient, making guests feel welcome and well taken care of. They were proactive in their duties and accommodated guest needs as best they could.

Negative Reviews

Dated décor

The décor of the rooms is old, outdated and tired. Guests said that the rooms seemed like they had not been renovated in a long time. Several guests have suggested that an upgrade is very much in order.

Small, outdated bathrooms

Bathrooms in the motel are reportedly very small and congested, as well as outdated. The basin is placed outside the toilet and shower area. Guests suggest upgrading them to make them more modern. Sporadic issues like leaking faucets and toilets, and unpleasant smells have been reported.

Other minor issues

Some guests said that the water in the pool was cold (despite being a heated pool) and they required it to be a little warmer. Some guests have also mentioned that the beds and pillows are less than comfortable.
