Positive Reviews

Delicious free breakfast

According to feedback, the free breakfast served here every day is a welcome treat. Guests mention that it’s a continental-style breakfast featuring a tasty and varied selection of cereals, meats and cheeses, perfect for fuelling the day’s activities. It’s all washed down with a selection of hot and cold beverages.

Convenient location

Guests are happy with the location of the guest house, which is situated around two miles from the historic centre of Lisbon. Particularly handy is the close proximity of Saldanha Metro Station on the Red Line; this offers direct services to Lisbon Airport and provides easy access to many of the attractions guests want to visit.

Outstanding staff

The members of staff who work here go out of their way to make sure guests have the best possible stay in Lisbon. Guests are very impressed with how friendly and attentive the staff members are and greatly appreciate the tourist information and advice they receive on what to see and do.

Negative Reviews

A bit noisy

As an older-style residence, it is perhaps unsurprising that it isn’t as well-insulated from noise as more modern buildings. Guests report that they can hear people walking up and down the wooden stairs and that the walls are quite thin. The road outside is also very busy.

Shared bathroom facilities

All the rooms here have shared bathroom facilities and guests point out that this isn’t ideal. It can mean waiting for a shower at times, but generally this doesn’t seem to be much of a problem.
