Positive Reviews

A beautiful, remote location

Travellers rave about the resort's remote location, and often comment on the beautifully wild surroundings. The nature trails winding through the property are a highlight for many guests, and the unusual freshness of the air, particularly during the lush and misty monsoon season, inspires many poetic reviews. Stargazing is very popular here as well. Travellers who choose the resort to reconnect with nature or their loved ones are also very enthusiastic about the property's lack of network connectivity and television.

Truly unusual rooms with a view

Guests are generally charmed by the property's unique tree houses and cabins. The tree houses are particularly popular for their fantastic view of the surrounding forest, though all of the accommodations are generally described as tastefully decorated, clean, and pleasantly private. The outdoor showers and comfortable lounging areas on the decks are also very popular features.

A paradise for eco-warriors

Many travellers are favourably impressed by the resort's commitment to the environment, and often comment that it is entirely powered by sustainable energy sources such as solar and wind.

Negative Reviews

Mixed reviews for the food

Travellers are often disappointed by the overall quality and variety of the food at the breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets, which are widely described as pricey. Guests also comment that there are few other dining options nearby.

Follow the rules

Guests are occasionally put off by the long list of resort policies that the reception staff are obligated to share with them upon check-in. Travellers have also been disappointed by an unaccommodating or even impolite response to special requests.

Mother Nature has a downside

Travellers have been unpleasantly surprised to find insects or wild animals in their rooms the lack of air-conditioning is said to make some cabins very uncomfortable outside of the monsoon season.
