Positive Reviews

Surrounded by wildlife

The cottages are in a particularly picturesque countryside spot with kangaroos roaming the area. Margaret River and the waterfall are just across the road. There is plenty of other wildlife to enjoy such as beautiful birds and plenty of native trees.

Perfect for a complete escape

The secluded location means you can really connect with nature, making these cottages ideal for a rural holiday. You don’t get mobile reception in most of the property so you won’t get disturbed by phone calls or the lure of the Internet. However, the town is easily accessible by car, making it convenient to purchase supplies and explore.

Extensive grounds

The cottages lie within 15 acres of gardens, woods and lawns where you can stroll, picnic or play with children. There is also a private lake on the property.

Negative Reviews

Owners are only interested in the money

From the time you make your booking to the time you check out, you will probably gain the impression that the owners only care about money. You may be asked to pay the full amount upfront months in advance if staying during peak periods and you’ll face additional charges for things like cleaning and firewood.

Poorly maintained accommodations

The cottages are not maintained well and are in need of thorough refurbishment. Reports include very poor housekeeping, dated décor and broken fixtures and fittings. Complaints are often dealt with in a rude manner.

Some cottages lack privacy

Some of the accommodations lack privacy in the bedrooms and bathrooms. If you stay in a mezzanine bedroom you may have to get changed in the bathroom as there are no walls or curtains and in some properties the hand basin unit is situated outside of the bathroom in the living area.
