Positive Reviews

A peaceful, scenic location...

Guests generally like the hotel's quiet setting overlooking a very attractive golf course, noting the lake area offers some very pleasant walks. The clubhouse restaurant is also within a comfortable walking distance, and there are several restaurants (and a shopping centre) within a short drive. Drivers also find the location convenient to the Werribee Zoo (about 15 minutes) and Melbourne CBD (about 20 minutes.)

A townhouse in the country...

Most guests describe the townhouses as very clean,"homey," and well equipped, though many note that most (possibly all) of the apartments are on two levels, and the staircase is a bit steep for wee travellers or those with mobility concerns. Some of the balconies overlook the lake, widely considered the best view. The dedicated spaces for each apartment in the garage are a much appreciated convenience.

Friendly faces, and plenty of exercise...

The front desk staff have earned many positive reviews for their friendly and accommodating customer service. Though the golf course is a big draw, guests also appreciate that there are plenty of other activities at the resort, including a well maintained indoor pool, tennis courts, and a gym, all free of charge.

Negative Reviews

Ups and downs...

Many guests, but especially those travelling with young children, wish that the apartments offered a bathroom on the main floor.

Technical difficulties...

Some guests have found the Wi-Fi a bit weak and difficult to use. Others are disappointed in the range of Foxtel channels available.

A bump in the middle...

Guests note that the king-size beds are a bit firm, with a seam down the centre where the two twin mattresses are joined. The queen-size is generally considered more comfortable for guests who plan on meeting in the middle.
