Positive Reviews

Great location in downtown Moncton

This was perhaps what guests most liked about the B&B, saying that it was very close to Moncton's Main Street and its cafes, restaurants and other amenities.

Friendly and pleasant host

Many guests found the B&B's host, Ron, to be a very pleasant man. Guests said that he was generally friendly and tried to make his guests feel welcome.

Negative Reviews

Major cleanliness issues

An incredible number of guests reported that their room wasn't clean when they checked in. In fact, the criticism was typically much harsher, with the word “filthy” used a few times. The general feeling seemed that very little effort was being exerted to try to keep the B&B going, with the result that standards, including cleanliness standards, where now very low indeed.

House was cluttered and messy

Guests didn't only think that the house was dirty, but that it was disorganised as well. They described renovations that had seen started but not completed and a lot of clutter than was not exactly well hidden from public view. It seems this clutter was not regarded in a positive light, as one might view an eccentric professor's study for example, but rather just a lot of unnecessary junk lying around.

Very poor breakfast

Guests really didn't think much of the breakfast at this B&B. It was described as a lacklustre, almost completely self service, affair of perhaps some toast, a hot beverage and not much else. Guests tended to find it neither tasty nor filling, and a bit of a disappointing start to their day.
