Positive Reviews

Rooms are kept spotlessly clean

Guests describe the accommodation as being very clean, comfortable and warm. Water pressure in the shower is good. Rooms are cleaned daily and towels, etc., are changed regularly and as a matter of course.

The brilliant staff helps to plan the day

Everyone here is very friendly and helpful, and they are informative as well. Whether it's something for the kids to do or vineyard tours for the grown-ups, guests feel that a few minutes spent chatting with the owners and staff is time well spent.

The town is on the doorstep

It's a very easy walk into the town itself and to shops and restaurants. If wondering what to do, those guests who opted for the two-hour guided tour of the town found it to be fascinating.

Negative Reviews

The initial impression is downbeat

The approach for arriving guests is not very appealing. This is felt to be a shame because virtually everything else is top-notch.

Air conditioning would make all the difference

Heat-exhausted guests feel that the addition of air conditioning would be a major boost to the motel’s popularity. This thought is offered, most enthusiastically, by guests staying in the particularly oppressive ground floor rooms.

Transport problems

Car parking is, guests report, extremely tight. Those with large vehicles have a real problem parking up. It is acknowledged, though, that fellow guests share responsibility for this situation by ignoring the clearly defined demarcation lines. Guests are also somewhat surprised to find that there is an early morning noise problem from traffic thundering along the nearby road.
