Positive Reviews

The Location is Handy

Guests appreciated that this hotel is near an underground station, as well as two train stations. Many also commented that the hotel is just around the corner from Osaka Castle, which is one of the area's notable landmarks. Furthermore, there are numerous convenience stores in the area that guests often relied upon for snacks.

Larger-Than-Expected Rooms

Numerous guests who had either stayed in Japanese hotel rooms before or done research to know what to expect knew the accommodations are characteristically small.  However, they said the rooms here defied their expectations, since both the main part of the room and the bathroom were bigger than they thought they'd be.

A Decent Value

Guests were generally impressed by the value for money offered here. The reasonable rates were a frequently cited factor that made guests want to return.

Negative Reviews

Smoking Rooms Given Without Warning

Reports from guests indicated that even when those individuals had taken time to book non-smoking rooms in advance, they were often provided with smoking rooms, and told nothing else was available. This scenario tended to occur when the hotel was very busy, and guests got frustrated that their prior reservations were not honoured.

Extra Pillows Not Available

Guests were bewildered to find out that when they requested extra pillows, staff told them none were available. Guests found it hard to believe that the hotel did not have spare pillows to provide.

The Staff Do Not Speak English Well

Guests often got annoyed because they said the staff do not have a good command of the English language. This shortcoming tended to make communications tricky and slow.
