Located only 200m from Palmanova beach, the Aparthotel Ponent Mar Apartments offer stunning panoramic views of the sea. The hotel is surrounded by spacious gardens and is just 250m from the town centre.

Great choice if you love cycling

The Stephen Roche training camp is based at this hotel, which makes it the ideal choice for those who love cycling and in particular cycling holidays If you have the stamina there are some excellent cycling routes in the surrounding area.

Quiet location with lovely views

Despite being close to the town, the hotel is quiet and has a really relaxed atmosphere The beach is not far to walk to and the pool area is lovely, very clean and safe for children The rooms have amazing views of the sea.

Family friendly with welcoming staff

The Ponent Mar is very chilled out and a great place to stay if you have children The food at the restaurants is very nice and on the whole the hotel and town offer real value for money Staff at the hotel were always polite, cheerful and happy to help.

Negative Reviews

Could do with some modernisation

Although the hotel was very nice and the staff friendly, the rooms are a bit basic and somewhat dated They would benefit from some modernisation, although they were clean and comfortable to sleep in.

The evening entertainment can be noisy

The hotel entertainment often goes on until 12am and, unfortunately, the rooms aren’t very good at blocking out the noise – not a problem if you’re planning on staying up to enjoy it, but it is if you have young children to put to bed.

The hilly walk from the beach is a challenge

The hotel is on a hill, which makes the walk back from the beach a bit of a challenge – if you’re elderly or not in the best of health this hotel might not be the best option for you.
