Positive Reviews

Suburban location near rail links

Guests said it was handy to be just a stone’s throw from the nearest bus stops and RER train station, and within walking distance of the closest metro station. Many added that it was therefore easy to explore the French capital’s many sights, museums, attractions and shopping areas using public transport. Moreover, the La Defense business district was nearby, as were numerous places to shop and eat.

Praise for rooms and facilities

Travellers welcomed the broad selection of room types from studios and apartments with well-equipped kitchenettes to standard and spacious upgrade rooms. Many of the rooms were said to be well-appointed with modern bathrooms. Reviewers also praised the way the rooms were well kitted out with flat-screen TVs, reliable free Wi-Fi, hairdryers, safes and mini-fridges as standard. Shared leisure facilities like the fitness centre also won admirers.

Positive about customer service

Visitors frequently spoke highly of the multilingual personnel, commenting that they were obliging, pleasant and professional. Animal lovers were delighted there was a pet-friendly policy.

Negative Reviews

Occasional cleanliness and maintenance issues

In some rooms, disappointed critics sometimes declared they encountered maintenance and cleanliness shortcomings such as dated furniture and fittings plus insufficiently cleaned bathrooms and tired-looking decor.

Reports of noise

Certain rooms closest to the railway lines nearby were reportedly exposed to occasional nuisance noise and the rumble of passing trains. Several light sleepers also mentioned that they could sometimes hear nuisance noise from adjacent rooms and corridors rather too easily.

Mixed views about catering

The lack of a free breakfast bothered some travellers. Occasionally, diners said the breakfast menu offered a limited selection of food items, or that it was a touch overpriced. Several guests wished the bar and restaurant had been open for longer hours and at weekends.
