Beautiful rooms impressed guests
With their elegant décor, the spacious rooms and generously-sized en suite bathrooms at this sympathetically adapted boutique hotel impressed travellers, as did the cosy beds and
reliable free Wi-Fi. Reviewers also loved luxuries like the Egyptian cotton bed linens, posh toiletries and free minibar that was replenished daily. Many guests described the rooms as spotlessly clean, comfy and well-maintained. Indeed, some guests liked the rooms so much they said they were among the finest they had ever stayed in. The swimming pool and spa also won praise.
Great customer service
Reviewers praised the customer care provided by friendly, responsive and professional personnel who paid attention to detail and had good local knowledge. Diners enjoyed the great
food, drinks and service in the on-site restaurants and lounge-bar.
Downtown location near shopping
Numerous guests described the location as perfect because it was surrounded by dining and shopping options and put them in the heart of central Perth. Moreover, guests could
easily walk to convention centres, parks and arts venues plus museums and visitor attractions. Drivers said it was straightforward to reach sports grounds, golf courses, beaches and the airport. Non-drivers welcomed the proximity of bus stops and train stations.
Nuisance noise originating from nearby restaurants and bars sometimes disturbed light sleepers in certain rooms facing surrounding streets, particularly at weekends.
Motorists welcomed the availability of valet parking, but some were disappointed that it was fairly expensive.
Occasional doubts over value for money
Although the rooms and amenities were undoubtedly of a high standard at this hotel, some guests prioritising value for money occasionally felt they didn’t get enough bang for
their buck as the room rates were sometimes quite steep. Moreover, some critics felt the food and drink at the restaurants were pricey.
