Positive Reviews

So many areas to socialise

The onsite restaurants are quite popular and have both indoor and outdoor dining spaces. The food is delicious and all offer the ambiance of relaxing while enjoying a good meal and good conversation with friends. There are often special events and community events held onsite.

A beach location

The location just can't be beat. It's right across from the beach and an easy walk. The rooms on the second floor give sweeping views of the ocean. Within easy walking distance are several bus stops and plenty of markets, shops, restaurants, and pubs. Entertainment can also easily be found.

It will provide what you need

The rooms are clean and and comes with a small desk. The suites provided a spacious stay and have stunning views from furnished balconies, extending the living space.

Negative Reviews

Small and older

The hotel is historic and misses some key modern features, like a proper lift. The rooms show some age and wear as well. The rooms are also incredibly small with barely space for luggage and the baths even smaller.

A happening place

The hotel's pubs and restaurant serve as the local gathering place for lots of locals. On the weekend and during special events, those places can become extremely loud and that noise can be heard in the rooms upstairs. Parking during the busy times can also be frustrating.

Not a standard hotel stay

The hotel doesn't have very many rooms and misses out on providing all the services that larger chains do. There is no room service and reception closes pretty early every day. Prices do change according to time of year and you might end up paying more for fewer amenities than you're used to.
