Positive Reviews

Great Location

The hotel is centrally located within easy walking distance to the Marina and its many boardwalk cafes and the shops and restaurants on Macrossan Street in the centre of town. Guests were happy they could park the car once and walk to everything that they needed.

Welcoming Hosts

The hosts at the hotel were singled out in a number of reviews left by previous guests. Guests said the host were very helpful and attentive, going out of their way to make sure that guests had all the amenity they needed for their holiday.

Manicured Grounds

Guests were impressed by the obvious effort that had been put into the grounds by staff, with many commenting that the lush tropical gardens were well maintained and in good condition.

Negative Reviews

Low Water Pressure

Guests who stayed in a certain parts of the hotel (away from reception) experienced a lack of hot water during peak times, were it seems that the hot water takes a long time to travel through the pipes to these rooms. Guests also complained about the low water pressure in their rooms.

Lack of Soundproofing

Guests who were wanting a peaceful and quiet holiday were a little disappointed with the amount of noise in and around their rooms. Guests complained about the noise coming from the communal pool area, whilst some found the soundproofing between rooms nonexistent; being able to hear their neighbours clearly (especially when spas were turned on)

Problems After Hours

The hotel does not operate reception out of normal business hours and some guests who were checking-in late were a bit miffed that there was no one there to greet them on their arrival.
