About Villa Celentano

This picturesque coastal village appears to hang precipitously from the Amalfi coast cliffs, making it a winning destination for tourists. Things get even better at Villa Celentano where the freedom of apartment living combines with friendly hotel services to create the best of both worlds.

Seaview apartments feature a private balcony whilst inside, there are sleeping areas, a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. Apartments are air-conditioned with free Wi-Fi.

Parking is available at Villa Celentano and these small apartments are serviced regularly with an equally regular change of bed linen.

An extensive breakfast is available each morning. For self caterers, Latteria deli is 600 metres away. It is only 200 metres to later restaurant dining at Next 2 where seafood is a speciality.

It is approximately 400 metres to the centre of Positano. A haunt of actors and musicians, the village's appearance as a backdrop for films comes as no surprise. Another local feature is the cliffside grotto, Grotta di Fornillo.

Positive Reviews

Exquisite villas in a lovely location

The apartments are spacious, spotlessly clean and done up beautifully. It is a leisurely walk down hill to the centre where the guests passed by many shops and restaurants. Beach was a few steps ahead. The icing on the cake was the breathtaking view of the sea and mountains that the guests could enjoy right through their window.

Delectable breakfast

Guests loved the simple yet delicious breakfast which was served on a covered terrace with amazing views of the entire Positano. It included meats, cheese, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, croissants and freshly made cappuccino. Some of the guests loved the fresh figs that came off the fig tree in the garden and the hot baked bread.

Great Hospitality

The owner of these apartments, Maria and her father are very warm and welcoming.  They are outstanding hosts and go out of their way to help the guests in whatever way required. Guests who were new to the place were provided with all the local information that they would need for a great stay.

Negative Reviews

Unreliable Wi-Fi

Few guests were a bit disappointed to find that the Wi-Fi connection was unsteady and kept disconnecting every now and then.

Uphill walk

Even though most of the guests loved the location of the apartments, some of them felt that the uphill walk might get tiring for aged guests and small kids. They suggested that in such a case, taking up a cab would be helpful.

Good value for money

Apart from a few niggles here and there, majority of the guests were very glad and found the stay in these apartments worth the money paid.
