Positive Reviews

Convenient location

The N-Line Metro is not far from the hotel making it easy to get into Manhattan within two stops. LaGuardia Airport is only four miles away if you fly in. Guests also felt the neighborhood was safe and nice. Astoria is also known for many small theater and nightlife venues that invite you for a visit.

Staff is remarkable

Many guests were very happy with the customer service provided. From the front desk procedures to helping with finding parking or answering questions about the city the staff is there to help you and will do their best to make your stay enjoyable.

Good rooms at a fair price

Most guests were very happy with their accommodations. The beds are comfortable and the modern amenities provided like premium cable or a deep soak tub are great . Especially the price of the hotel has been praised by many in relation to what the hotel offers.

Negative Reviews

Parking can be an issue

The hotel itself does not provide a garage. As in most neighborhoods in New York, finding a free spot on the street can be an issue. There is however a paid garage nearby and guests have also reported that the staff will tell you where to go if you want to take your chances at finding free parking.

Thin walls mean noise

Some guests had issues with noises from neighboring rooms or from the hallway. If you would like to get a good night's rest a pair of earplugs might assure you an enjoyable sleep.

Smaller rooms

Some guests felt that the rooms were on the small side. As this is a budget hotel you might want to stay at more expensive hotels if you would like to have a big room while being in the city.
