Only two-minutes’ walk from the beach and the centre of Queenstown, Caples Court is a relaxed roadside motel set on a hillside overlooking Lake Wakatipu.

Great location

While you will have fabulous views of Queenstown and the lake and be away from the hustle and bustle, you will conveniently be only a couple of minutes' walk from the town centre. As a result, guests consistently rate the location of this property very highly.

Very clean and tidy rooms

When you arrive you will find the room is very clean, and during your stay there will be a good daily maid service to keep the room tidy and supplied with plenty of fresh towels. Guests say this makes them feel comfortable and relaxed.

Negative Reviews

Cramped parking

Some guests note that spaces in the private parking at the property are limited. Also, the spaces themselves are tight, which can make it difficult to park larger cars. However, staff will help guests to park and guests do like that parking on-site is free.

Basement rooms are not so bright

There are rooms are on the same level as the carpark. It was noted that these only have a small window and so do not enjoy the sun and views which the other rooms do. It was also said they may be noisier due to being near the carpark and hotel laundry room.

Bathrooms may be in need of some updating

Some minor issues are reported with the bathrooms such as there being no shelf for your toiletries and no fan. Issues with the showers included that they were dated with water pressure being low or the temperature being difficult to regulate. Guests felt that, although clean, they would benefit from some refurbishment.
