Positive Reviews

Stunning Views, Excellent Value

The outstanding panoramic lake and mountain views are without a doubt the greatest draw here - spectacular from both the dining area as well as some rooms.  Meals in the restaurant are tasty and the complimentary breakfast is simple but sufficient. If you're travelling with kids, there's a great children's menu for dinner. It's an easy ride into town on the bus or taxi as well, and some have even walked it in around thirty minutes. (The walk into town is much easier than the walk back, fyi) A great value for the buck.

Lovely Rooms

Some are a bit on the small side, but all are tastefully arranged and cosy with lots of complimentary body products. Ask for the lakeview if you'd like the most amazing view possible.

Pleasant, Efficient Staff

The staff here is charming from arrival to departure; don't hesitate to ask if you need anything at all.

Negative Reviews

No Lift

There's only two floors, but you'll still want to request the lower level if you've got heavy luggage or mobility challenges.

Limited Wi-Fi

The Wi-Fi is only really adequate near the lobby - rooms farther away will likely have trouble with connectivity, at least sometimes.

A Few Foibles

Larger beds are often two singles pushed together - not popular with most. Some things don't work optimally, like the bathroom heaters that won't shut off, hair dryers that shut off randomly and water pressure and temperature during showers that tend to be weak and cold. Pretty much everything could use a deep cleaning as well.
