Positive Reviews

Renovated property

Many guests appreciated the renovations at this historic property. Visitors said that the hotel felt new and well appointed, and many were surprised to find modern, comfortable rooms behind the older façade. Travellers felt as if they had found a secret gem in the heart of the city.

Good service

Many guests complimented the staff of this hotel on their fine service. Travellers felt welcomed and cared for, whether it was at check in, at breakfast, or anything in between.

Location can't be beat

The location of this hotel allowed travellers of all ages to easily access their destinations. Guests were just a few steps away from some of the most popular bars and restaurants in the city. Many said that the parking situation was also very convenient, allowing them to maximize time off the road and on the town.

Negative Reviews

Loud

Disappointed guests often mentioned noise in their reviews. Travellers said that the proximity to restaurants meant that their room windows were right next to large exhaust pipes from the kitchen areas. The resulting noise made it difficult to rest, relax, and sleep.

Small rooms

Travellers said that the rooms at this hotel were not large enough to comfortably inhabit. Those with lots of luggage, as well as larger groups, had trouble squeezing in to their accommodation. In addition, guests reported that their shower areas were very small.

No elevator

Many reviewers said that the lack of an elevator was a serious issue during their stay. The hotel's higher floors were very difficult to access for those with luggage, and this also made it difficult for travellers trying to get in and out of their rooms quickly throughout their stay.
