Positive Reviews

Stunning sea views surround this clifftop hotel

Camelot Castle is a hotel in an amazing location, so much so that you might feel like you’ve just walked into a fairytale when you arrive here The whistling wind and uninterrupted views make for a very atmospheric stay.

Level of customer service is exceptional

Despite being a hotel in a small village in sparsely populated Cornwall, the multilingual staff here provide a commendable service from the moment you step foot inside the premises If stars were awarded on service only this hotel would have more than three.

Bring your dog to this pet friendly hotel

You are welcomed to bring your pet to this hotel, and there is very little that is out of bounds for dogs The wild countryside surrounding the hotel makes for great dog waking terrain.

Negative Reviews

Some of the bathrooms are positively tiny

If decide to book one of the cheaper rooms here then you can expect a tiny bathroom similar to the type you would find in a caravan If a plastic shower cubicle is not your idea of an en-suite bathroom then consider an upgrade or a different hotel entirely.

Hotel is suffering from wear and tear

While it is no medieval castle, this hotel does seem to have suffered from years of neglect at the hands of the owner Tatty furniture, frayed carpets and dusty corners await, so lovers of the modern and fresh look should enquire elsewhere.

The free Wi-Fi is patchy so don’t rely on it

Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided by Camelot Castle, but the signal doesn't reach all corners of the premises so you might find that you cannot connect to the internet in your room Check the signal when you arrive in your room.
