Fantastic on-site sushi restaurant

Almost all of the positive reviews were from guests who had a great time at the sushi restaurant in the ground floor area. They served quality sushi rolls and other Japanese dishes while offering a magnificent ocean views and well-designed restaurant atmosphere. The restaurant also offers one of the best sushi's ever according to guests.

Warm and welcoming hosts

The unique positive attitude of the hosts was effective in entertaining the guests. The hosts were cheerful and ready to engage in conversations, and were quick to provide useful information that can help the guests travel comfortably in the area.

Ideally situated in the heart of Tofino!

The central location of the property is very appealing, as several attractions can all be reached within a short walking distance. It is near major tourist destinations such as Tofino's Tonquin Park Beach and popular dining options such as Wolf in the Fog.

Negative Reviews

Weak Wi-Fi connection

Most guests complained about the poor performance of the Wi-Fi. Internet access only worked at specific communal areas such as the lobby but not inside the rooms or in the balcony area. The signal was weak and unstable so guests had difficulty connecting all throughout their stay.

Slight noise from the restaurant area

Due to some noise coming from the restaurant area such as loud conversations or people hanging out until closing time, most guests had difficulty getting proper sleep. The wooden floor structure was also disturbing since guests could hear the loud footsteps and chairs being moved from the restaurant.

Steep staircase design

The stairs on-site was very difficult to climb especially for disabled individuals, elderly, and those who have mobility issues. The access to both stairs from inside and outside of the property was hard for guests who were physically challenged.
