Positive Reviews

A great place for kids

There are several amusement parks and recreation activities within walking distance of the resort park. The beach is also nearby. Many of the cabins have bunk beds and there is ample space for a family's needs. A short drive away is a quaint village with an abundance of shops, restaurants, and entertainment.

A fun time for all

The kids won't have all the fun. Adult guests can look forward to a heated pool and spa, as well as rental bikes and walking trails in the area. Whale watching is also nearby.

Overall, a good choice

The units are clean and comfortable and the staff is friendly to visitors. The park itself is quiet and has posted quiet hours. Amenities are kept in good working order and the camp kitchens and campsites are functional and usable. The rates are reasonable and there is enough to do onsite and off to keep guests returning year after year.

Negative Reviews

A bit dated

Many cabins are dated and a bit rundown. Carpets are worn out and some appliances and features aren't in the best shape. The Wi-fi isn't free, but doesn't work well when purchased.

Weather fluctuations

While the units are heated and air conditioned, the extremes in the weather can make for unpleasant stays. Neither the heater nor the air conditioner can keep up with the temperature fluctuations. So, if you go in either very hot or very cold weather, you'll be struggling to stay comfortable in the rooms.

Strange layouts

Some of the cabins have strange layouts of the structure itself and of the furniture. The pool is also small. Some cabins have connecting doors and it's possible to hear conversations through this gap.
