Shelby Country Inn and RV Park

The hotel is often described as a family-run motel that provides a homey feel, particularly appealing to road trippers seeking a convenient overnight stop. Its signature feature is the direct parking in front of rooms for ground-floor accommodations, offering unparalleled ease of access for travelers with vehicles. Guests frequently highlight the friendly staff and the hotel's generally clean rooms, though feedback on cleanliness can be quite mixed, with some reporting significant issues. It serves as a practical choice for pet owners due to its accommodating nature and the reported absence of strong pet odors, and for budget-conscious travelers looking for basic, no-frills lodging. While many appreciate its straightforward approach and value, some guests advise managing expectations regarding the age and condition of the facilities. For those planning a late arrival, it is highly recommended to call ahead to ensure smooth access, as front desk hours can be limited, which has caused issues for some guests.
