Review summary
Summarized by AI from 40+ reviews
This hotel offers a truly unique and charming experience, set within a historic old wooden guest house that exudes a quaint and comfortable ambiance. Its distinctive character and historical significance are frequently highlighted by guests, making it a memorable stay. The hotel is particularly well-suited for concert-goers due to its convenient proximity to the Crystal Bay Casino, and for sightseers looking to explore the North Lake Tahoe area, including Kings Beach and Incline Village. While couples might find the setting romantic, they should be aware of the unique room layouts. Guests consistently note the mixed experience with the check-in process, which requires going through the adjacent casino. To ensure a smoother arrival, it is advisable to familiarize yourself with the check-in procedure beforehand and manage expectations regarding bathroom privacy, as some rooms have unconventional layouts.
