Review summary
Summarized by AI from 200+ reviews
A rustic wilderness escape for nature-focused travelers.
This lodge serves as a rugged base for outdoor enthusiasts seeking a back-to-nature experience. Wells Gray Provincial Park provides the primary location USP, while the functional RV sites serve as the standout facility. Guests often praise the homemade evening meals for their traditional flavors, though those seeking a more polished stay may prefer booking the private deck units for added comfort. The property’s remote, off-the-grid setting ensures a peaceful atmosphere for those prioritizing proximity to iconic hiking trails and wildlife viewing over modern, full-service amenities.
Some guests mentioned: inconsistent service, dated interiors, limited connectivity.
