Review summary

Summarized by AI from 800+ reviews

A convenient downtown base for families and travelers.

This hotel serves as a practical choice for families and sightseers seeking a central home base. Prime downtown Raleigh sits alongside free parking, providing guests with seamless access to local attractions and regional transit. While the property offers a family-friendly atmosphere for larger groups, travelers should note that the suites provide the most space for those prioritizing room size. The overall experience remains highly dependent on individual interactions, as the attentive staff often work hard to compensate for the property's aging infrastructure and inconsistent service standards.

Some guests mentioned: broken elevators, worn mattresses, inconsistent breakfast.
