Review summary
Summarized by AI from 100+ reviews
A charming, self-service retreat in the historic district.
This property welcomes independent travelers seeking an authentic stay within a historic 17th-century setting. The central location in the old town pairs with convenient onsite parking to simplify exploration for those arriving by car. Guests often praise the comfortable, modern beds found in the unique, rustic rooms; for a more seamless experience, consider requesting a room away from high-traffic areas to maximize the quiet atmosphere. While the breakfast buffet at the partner property is a highlight, the overall stay prioritizes simplicity and historic charm over traditional hotel services.
Some guests mentioned: inconsistent service, chilly rooms, poor sound insulation.
