Mitsui Garden Hotel Osaka Premier (Osaka, Japan)

Guests seemed very happy with the breakfast offered at the hotel. There seemed to be a wide variety of foods, mostly Western foods in fact, and most reviewers seemed to be able to find something they liked.

Very unusually for hotel reviews, there were a very large number of guests who said the beds were very comfortable. There really did not seem to be any complaints about the beds. Due to differences in taste there are almost always at least a few complaints, but the bed buyers of the Mitsui Group may just have found the holy grail of mattresses.

While some had issues with their size, pretty much all guests though that the rooms were very well furnished and decorated. The rooms are modern, but without being cold and impersonal. Guests felt the designers definitely balanced the elements well.

While guests were generally very complimentary about the rooms, one thing many did not like was that the standard rooms were very small. Very well designed, but good design can only help space limitations up to a point, and no further.

This wasn't really cited as a major issue, but some guests did highlight the fact that the hotel's island position made getting around just a little more challenging that would have been the case otherwise.

A couple of guests were quite disappointed to find that the penthouse lounge was simply a place with some seats to relax, rather than one with bar service and other amenities.
