Review summary

Summarized by AI from 1,000+ reviews

A waterfront downtown retreat for city explorers.

This hotel serves as a vibrant base for sightseers seeking a central urban escape. The property boasts an unbeatable waterfront location along the Elizabeth River, which is rounded out by a well-equipped fitness center for maintaining wellness routines. Guests frequently praise the standout breakfast buffet for its fresh variety, and those looking for a quieter experience may prefer requesting a room on the higher floors to minimize hallway noise. While the staff is often commended for their professional care, the property’s inconsistent room maintenance and noise levels remain notable considerations.

Some guests mentioned: thin walls, inconsistent service, outdated HVAC systems.
