About Golden Gate Hotel & Casino

  • Historic 1906 Las Vegas property

Stay at the oldest hotel in Las Vegas, which retains its original vintage charm and architecture.

  • Prime location on Fremont Street

Walk directly onto the Fremont Street Experience for immediate access to live entertainment, dining, and shopping.

  • Centralized climate control system

Guest rooms utilize a centralized heating and cooling system that limits individual temperature adjustments.

  • High noise levels until 2AM

Guest rooms facing the Fremont Street Experience are subject to loud music and street noise until the early morning hours.

  • Compact guest room layouts

Standard guest rooms and bathrooms feature limited square footage and narrow entryways due to the historic building design.

The 3-star Golden Gate Hotel & Casino, established in 1906 as Las Vegas' oldest hotel and casino, is located directly on the Fremont Street Experience. Guests can explore museum-quality historic artifacts and stay in one of the 10 original 1906 hotel rooms. The property is credited with introducing the iconic shrimp cocktail to Las Vegas in 1959 and features Bar Prohibition, a former Rat Pack hangout. Guests receive complimentary access to Circa's Stadium Swim. The hotel has a review score of 7.6 based on over 10,000 reviews, with atmosphere, breakfast, and location highlighted positively by guests.
